Jab Shehar Hamra Sota Hai, Punjab’s first ever Broadway style Musical stage production inspired by a Shakespeare Classic- ROMEO & JULIET. This WORLD CLASSIC is seen as the greatest story of love and romance the world over and has continued to thrill the old and the young alike till date! In order to bring the story home YUVAA has picked to produce a brilliant Indian adaptation of the same by none other than the famous, fiery and classy poet and playwright, the multi-talented, popular Theatre and Bollywood genius, Piyush Mishra! So, the setting becomes that of the modern day India, while the love, beautiful romantic poetry and the historic rivalries all get laced with Mishra’s sharp edged, deep meaning, enraging and pulsating images and poetry. And when the theme is one of love and hatred, of reason and passion, there is really no limit to what the play puts on offer for theatre audiences of all ages and regions.

YUVAA’s Musical production is an action packed thriller about 2 hours 20 minutes in duration with an interval of 10 minutes. It will has an ensemble cast of 21 actors and musicians on stage. The production has live songs, playback tracks, fight sequences, projections, dances and thrilling drama to completely entertain and enrich the audiences of all age groups and genders across the state. The songs and poems used in the play have all been written by Piyush Mishra.
